How Can I Know My Spiritual Gift

We can identify our spiritual gift by its number, which is the same as the base digit number of our birth date. Every spiritual gift has a number between 1 and 9. Their numbers are found by the order in which they were first written, in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:7-11:

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of (1)wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of (2)knowledge through the same Spirit, to another (3)faith (persuasion) by the same Spirit, to another gifts of (4)healings by the same Spirit, to another the (5)working of miracles (empowerment), to another (6)prophecy (prediction), to another (7)discerning of spirits, to another different (8)kinds of tongues (intuition), to another the (9)interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

The next thing we need to do is to find the base digit of our birthdate. This number is an identical match to our spiritual gift's number. We find the base digit of a birthdate by adding together the month, day and year of birth until it has been reduced to a single number between 1 and 9.

Start by changing the name of your birth month into its number. For example, January is "1" and December is "12"). Next, line up all the digits of your birthdate: the month, the day of the month, and the year. Then, add them together. The result will be a double-digit number, such as "24" or "47". Then, add the digits of that double-digit number together. In the case of "24", the spiritual gift number is "6" (2+4=6). In the case of "47", we must add a second time: 4+7= "11", then 1+1= "2".
